Olivia Garden Hair Tools:
Ceramic+ion™ Vent Shaper, HeatPro® Thermal brush & Double Clip™
Brush wet hair with the Ceramic+ion Vent Shaper & find natural part. Try to not disturb natural curl in hair.
Using blowdryer without nozzle, blowdry free hand until hair is 75% dry. Lift hair with hands to add height, direction & volume.
Starting at top of head, use large HeatPro Thermal brush & blowdryer with nozzle to create lift & body. Leave brush in hair while it cools to help lock-in curl. Repeat all around top of head.
Remove first brush & flip hair to opposite side to create volume at roots. Continue like this as you move down the head. Use Double Clip to keep dried sections away from wet hair as you work around the head.
Use small HeatPro Thermal brush with small sections of hair to create waves. Leave brushes in hair & repeat all around crown.
Remove all brushes & tousle hair with hands. Add styling product & manipulate hair with hands to create desired texture.

Divine® (DV-4) 100% Boar Brush, Double Clip™ Petite & ProThermal® brush
Use the Divine 100% Boar brush to smooth out hair.
Section off a layer of hair in nape & pin the rest of hair up with a Double Clip Petite.
Back brush the hair closest to the nape of neck. Roll & firmly secure the section with bobby pins to back of neck. This creates volume & base of faux bob.
Brush again with Divine Boar to smooth out & gather all loose hairs at back of head. Tie hair with an elastic band in a low, loose ponytail.
Roll & tuck ponytail under at base of the neck. Using bobby pins, secure it at desired bob length into base that you previously created in step 3.
Pull out some loose hair pieces from around fringe, face & bob. Use small ProThermal brush with blowdryer to create soft curls in loose hair strands.

Ceramic+ion™ XL-Pro Paddle Brush, Ceramic+ion™ Large Thermal Brush,
Double Clip™ & Divine® 100% Boar Brush
Brush wet hair with Ceramic+ion XL-Pro large paddle brush. Use blowdryer without nozzle to start drying free hand. Starting at crown, use hands to loosely lift hair upwards to create lift at roots.
Flip hair upside down & continue blowdrying while tousling hair with hands to add volume. When hair is 85% dry, flip it back over. You can already see some volume in the hair.
Starting at top of head, section with pick from Ceramic+ion Thermal large brush & blowdry on base, straight down to create lift at root. Focus blowdryer nozzle on brush.
While the hair cools down, leave brush in the hair to solidify curl & move on to next section. Repeat all around crown. Remove brush when the hair has completely cooled down.
Roll hair strand with hands & secure pin curl with Double Clips. Repeat until all hair is pinned. Apply hairspray to hair. Remove all clips, loosen curls & tousle hair with hands.
Smooth out hair with Divine 100% Boar brush by brushing 1” away from roots. Repeat this all around face for lift at the roots with a smooth finish.

Double Clip™ Petite, NanoThermic® Themal Brush, NanoThermic® Contour™ Combo Brush
Style-Up™ Combo Teasing Brush & CarboSilk® Comb
Part and section hair with Double Clip Petite about 1” above ears and all the way around head. Blow dry with NanoThermic Thermal brush rolling hair upwards to create flip out.
After nape section, switch to NanoThermic Contour Combo brush as you continue to create flip out. Let the hair cool for a few seconds while brush is still in hair.
At top of head, use larger size brush as hair gets longer and continue to blow dry by flipping out. Lay dried strand in the opposite direction of finished style to achieve height & create volume at roots.
Tease hair with Style-Up Combo teasing brush for additional volume around crown of the head & face.
Use large prongs on the CarboSilk Comb to gently lift & style.
Use the small NanoThermic Thermal brush to intensify flip outs at ends of outer layer around head with a blowdryer.

Divine® (DV-1) Wet Detangler, Double Clip™ Petite
EcoCeramic™ Thermal Firm Bristle & Ceramic+ion™ Supreme Combo Paddle Brush
Detangle wet hair completely with Divine Wet Detangler brush. Let hair fall into its natural part.
Starting at crown of head, section hair using a Double Clip Petite. Then section off at ears & divide back in 2 halves.
Starting at nape, use the EcoCeramic Thermal Firm bristle brush & blowdryer with nozzle to blowdry downwards from roots to ends to close cuticle. straighten & smooth hair.
Important to dry both sides of hair strands to achieve a smooth, straight style. To dry top side, place brush below strand & blowdryer is on top. To dry bottom side, brush is on top & blowdryer comes from below.
When done drying, brush hair all around with Ceramic+ionTM Supreme Combo paddle brush to smooth cuticle & control fly-aways while shaping hair.
Increase the height of the bump by lifting hair up with the rat tail of a Carbosilk Comb.

CarboSilk® Comb, Style-up™ Combo Teasing Brush & Ceramic+ion™ Thermal Brush
Section hair & tease all around back of crown with a CarboSilk Comb to create height & volume. This is the foundation for bump at back of updo.
Use the rat tail of the Style-up Combo teasing brush to lift & gather hair.
Take some hair sections in front, pull to back & anchor hair with 2 bobby pins. Always double anchor crossing pins over, one pin in one direction & other in opposite direction. Repeat on other side.
Working down towards nape, continue to gather sections on each side & secure at the back with bobby pins. Lock these into pins already in the hair. Use 2 pins for each sections to hold hair firmly in place.
Take remaining hair at nape, twist, & tuck in ends. Pin it at back with rest of the hair. Lock the new pins into pins already in the hair. Use enough pins to firmly secure updo in place.
Create soft curls to frame face by rolling loose hair in front with small Ceramic+ion Thermal brush & blowdryer with nozzle. Use hairspray to lock in shape.

Ceramic+ion Supreme Boar paddle brush
NanoThermic Contour Thermal brush & Carbosilk Comb
Brush & smooth hair with Ceramic+ion Supreme Boar paddle brush. Find the hair’s natural part.
Use Carbosilk Comb to tease hair at back of head to build height & volume for the bump. Add finishing spray to each teased section. Do not tease hair around the face.
Lightly smooth out teased hair with Supreme Boar paddle brush, forming bump at back of head. Pull all hair back with brush & gather it at mid-back of head. Make sure to leave bump untouched.
Twist ponytail onto itself and secure to back with several large bobby pins. Always double anchor crossing pins over, one pin in one direction and the other in opposite direction.
Create soft curls around face by rolling loose hair in front with small NanoThermic Contour Thermal brush & blowdryer with nozzle. Use hairspray to lock in the shape.

CarboSilk Rat Tail Comb & Healthy Hair Combo Boar Paddle Brush
Brush & detangle wet hair with the Fingerbrush hair brush.
Find the hair’s natural part.
Section off bottom layer of hair at the nape & pin the rest up with Double Clip Petite. Blowdry hair under using a small NanoThermic Thermal brush & blowdryer with
a nozzle.
Move up towards crown switching to larger barrel size as hair gradually gets longer. Dry hair underneath at root to create bob & smooth cuticle. Leave brushes in hair to lock-in curls as barrel acts like a hot roller.
At top of head, dry upwards to lift roots & create body. For additional volume, blowdry the top section in the opposite direction than it will be styled so that the roots have maximum lift.
Use the CarboSilk rat tail comb to tease the hair around the top of head. Use the tail side to blend the teased sections.
Use the Healthy Hair Combo Boar paddle brush to smooth out stray hairs & give the bob its final look.

STEP 1: Gently brush & detangle hair with the iDetangle hair brush.
STEP 2: Section hair & secure with Double Clip Petite. Apply styling product onto bristles of iBlend brush.
STEP 3: Evenly saturate hair using iBlend brush to distribute styling product throughout entire head of hair.
STEP 4: Clip hair with Double Clip Petite to set hair in wave formation.
STEP 5: After hair is dry on top, barrel curl hair under with a Ceramic+ion round thermal brush & blow dryer.
STEP 6: Tease hair on the underside with Style-Up teasing brush. Tuck bottom ends under and secure with bobby pins. Apply finishing spray to hold hair in place.

STEP 1: Gently brush and detangle hair with the Fingerbrush vented hair brush.
STEP 2: Create a top knot v-shape section on the crown of the head.
STEP 3: Brush front section of hair into a slick top knot with a Ceramic+ion Supreme Combo brush. Tie with an elastic band.
STEP 4: Take a 1/4” section of hair, smooth out with the Ceramic+ion Supreme Combo brush. Wrap hair around elastic & secure end with bobby pins.
STEP 5: Use the CarboSilk technical comb to tease hair using the lacing technique on entirety of head (French lacing involves combing small sections of hair from the ends toward scalp causing shorter hair to mat at the scalp & form a cushion or base for added volume).
STEP 6: Smooth out perimeter of hair with the Ceramic+ion Supreme Combo brush. Set with a soft workable hair spray.

Double Clip, Healthy Hair ionic bamboo paddle brush
NanoThermic round thermal brushes & Style-Up teasing brush
STEP 1: Section front perimeter of hair & secure with Double Clips. Create a high ponytail on back of head and tie with elastic band.
STEP 2: Smooth out sides of ponytail using the back side of the Healthy Hair ionic bamboo paddle brush.
STEP 3: Section ponytail into three 1” sections. Barrel curl dry with NanoThermic round thermal brushes. Leave brushes in hair to set curls.
STEP 4: Tease & smooth small sections of hair from the front perimeter with the Style-Up teasing brush. Wrap entire front hair around hand, roll under & secure with bobby pins.
STEP 5: Gently unroll & remove all brushes from ponytail.
STEP 6: Tease hair in ponytail with the Style-Up teasing brush to create volume & lift. Spread & mold with fingers.

Double Clip Petite, Cara Shears, HeatPro Thermal Styler, PrecisionCut shears
& NanoThermic thermal round brush
STEP 1: Section crown of head with Double Clips Petite into 4 even sections with diagonal partings circling the head.
STEP 2: Create front anchor point to be used as a guide to cut along the side perimeter of hair.
STEP 3: Create back anchor point to be used as a guide to cut along side perimeter of hair.
STEP 4: Use Cara Shears to cut along the perimeter connecting the front & back guides. Continue to bring down top sections using the previous section as your guide to complete the cut. .
STEP 5: Use the HeatPro Thermal Styler brush to wrap dry the hair around the head with the blow dryer nozzle pointing diagonally to follow shape of head. Repeat until the entire head is dry.
STEP 6: Complete final details & touch-ups with the PrecisionCut shears. Curl ends under with a NanoThermic thermal round brush to complete the look.
